The 650K, 750K and 850K models boast an easy-tilt operator’s platform that takes less than 10 minutes to tip for direct access to the power train. A 49-degree slope on the track frame cover and no catch points give the brush off to dirt accumulation. A high-visibility cab with a narrow dashboard provides the operator with a clear line of sight to the blade.

CASE D Series Wheel Loaders

Case D Series Wheel Loaders and D Series Tool Carrier Wheel Loaders – 721D, 721 D XT, 621D, 621D XT, 521D and 521D XT – are built for fast cycle times, boast best-in-class maintenance and are powered by Tier 2 certified engines for more power and reduced emissions. Old news - back to 2001 and 2003

IR Buys Czech Backhoe Maker, U.S. Distributor
Aug 1, 2001 12:00 PM

Ingersoll-Rand in Woodcliff Lake, N.J. purchased the stock of Superstav, spol. s.r.o., a Dobris, Czech Republic-based manufacturer of compact tractor loader backhoes. Ingersoll-Rand also bought the company's U.S. distributor Earth Force America in Charleston, S.C. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Superstav employs about 200 people. Both businesses were added to IR's Bobcat unit.
The acquisition of Superstav allows IR to expand its European operations and provide a “more cost-competitive base” to serve its customers, according to company president and CEO Herbert Henkel.

BACKHOES & ATTACHMENTS
Nov 1, 2003 12:00 PM

Ingersoll-Rand recently introduced seven new models of compact loader backhoes — the BL 275, BL 370, BL 375, BL 470, BL 475, BL 570 and BL 575. They range in horsepower from 31.5 hp on the 270 to 56 hp on the 570 unit. These new units can excavate depths up to 12 feet and are designed for utility contractors, landscapers, plumbers and rental companies. The new models use Kubota diesel engines in non-turbo and turbo charged packages. Other standard features include four-wheel drive and full-time four-wheel steer for tight turning in confined areas.

Marty Mulrooney, president of The Mulrooney Co., Liverpool, N.Y., needed a backhoe loader to use in his everyday operations, loading and unloading trucks as well as moving mulch and stone. He wanted a machine that was small and maneuverable. “I use my BL-470 everyday,” Mulrooney says. “It has made moving materials more efficient because it's so easy to use. It is my right arm in the morning.”

CONEXPO 2005 - Sakai

SV 510-II Series

The Sakai SV510-II Series are designed for high yardage compaction jobs on a wide range of soil types and rockfill – highway and airport subbases, embankments, dams, reservoirs, and large commercial tracts. Tight curb and rail clearances on both sides of the machine permit operation close to obstructions and foundations – eliminating the need for additional equipment and hand work. Sakai offers the SV510-II Series in five different models to meet the any soil conditions.

CV 550 Track Driven Vibratory Soil Compactor

The new Sakai CV550 Series are the world’s only drum and track-driven vibratory soil compactors – enabling these machines to conquer steep slope applications while compacting. A 110” dozer blade further makes these machines ideal for high yardage compaction jobs like landfills and earthen dams that previously required a vibratory compactor to be winched up slopes by a dozer. The CV550s eliminate this expense and complete compaction and backfill tasks with one machine and one operator.

Sakai offers the CV550 Series in two drum types that will challenge any soil conditions – smooth drum for non-cohesive and granular materials, or padfoot drum for cohesive silts and clays. The dozer blade is standard equipment on both models.

CONEXPO 2005 - Bomag

BOMAG (KEWANEE, Ill.) introduces the new BW161AD-4 HF tandem vibratory roller. As a total redesign, the BW161AD-4 HF offers much improved visibility and performance compared with the model it replaces.

Featuring slanted drum support legs, the new BW161AD-4 HF roller offers a clear view of the drum edges, eliminating the need for operators to lean out of the cockpit during operation. Furthermore, the design of the front and rear frames allows for an unrestricted view of both the drums and sprinkler system. This new design makes all drum surfaces and sprinkler nozzles completely visible across the entire 66-inch rolling width, enabling operators to quickly spot potential asphalt pick-up.

Powered by a 131-horsepower, 4-cylinder Deutz water-cooled diesel engine, the BW161AD-4 HF delivers 36,000 pounds of centrifugal force in low frequency (2,700 vpm) and 27,225 pounds in high frequency (3,600 vpm) - an increase of 23 and 60 percent, respectively, compared with the previous model. Independent drum vibration control and standard dual amplitudes allow the roller to handle a variety of lift thicknesses and applications ranging from granular bases to Superpave.

CONEXPO 2005 - Bobcat

The Bobcat T300 compact track loader has a rated operating capacity of 3000lb, making it the largest in the Bobcat track loader lineup. The machine’s 17.7-in. wide rubber tracks produce just 4.1 psi of ground pressure, giving it both excellent flotation and great tractive effort. The T300 is powered by an 81 hp, turbo-charged, liquid-cooled Kubota engine.

The T300 has a lift height of 126.4 inches that follows a vertical lift path, allowing it to load trucks easily. The unique design of the lift arms gives the operator a great view of the attachment and all four corners of the machine.

430 and 435 ZHS Excavators

The Bobcat 430 and 435 are the first compact excavators with a Zero House Swing (ZHS) design and FastTrack drive system. With the ZHS design, both the front and the rear of the compact excavator stay within the width of the tracks. The FastTrack drive system provides impressive travel speeds of up to 5 mph, reducing the time it takes to get between projects on the jobsite.

The ZHS design gives contractors a greater range of house rotation when working in extremely tight quarters. Bobcat engineers developed the ZHS series excavators without sacrificing cab room or access to service and maintenance items, which are typically associated with most current zero tail swing machines.
