CONEXPO 2005 - Vermeer

To improve short-distance boring Vermeer introduces D7x11 Series II NAVIGATOR HDD.

Powered by a turbo-charged, Tier II 47 HP (35 kw) Kubota engine, the D7x11 Series II features 1300 ft-lb (1762 Nm) of rotational torque and 9000 lb (4082 kg) of thrust/pullback making it easy to install product efficiently. Dual hydrostatic pumps provide dedicated hydraulics to power specific functions. An increased carriage speed of 105 ft/min (32 m/min) improves efficiency for faster cycle times.

A small footprint provides increased access to confined areas and heightens machine maneuverability. A width of 35.5” (90.2 cm) allows the machine to transport through and fit into narrow areas.

The D7x11 Series II features open-top vise system, floating head, dual stakedowns and 6’ (1.8 m) sections of FIRESTICK® drill stem to enhance efficiency. FIRESTICK threads are precision machined and feature a coarse design for faster makeup and breakout, and longer joint life.

Extensive steps have been taken to produce a quiet machine that fits the needs of customers performing residential work and provides a lower decibel level for operators. With options including a 25 gal (95 L) onboard tank and optional steel or rubber tracks, the D7x11 Series II is your clear choice for small-diameter installations.
