Rubber Track Loader
Takeuchi TL140
Takeuchi began developing its rubber track loaders in the mid-1980s; the company introduced its rubber track loader, the TL26, in North America in 1991.The product of years of research, field-testing and refinement, Takeuchi's Rubber Track Loaders are one of the most mature and well-developed compact track loader lines on the market.
TL140 rubber-track loader is a new size category for Takeuchi, powered by an 81-hp Isuzu diesel. It has an 18-inch track and an undercarriage that is welded to the frame. Planetary final drive motors provide traction and pushing power. Operating weight is 9,590 pounds, tipping load is 5,952 pounds, and bucket breakout force is 7,403 pounds. The operator’s cab has air conditioning, suspension seat, and roll-up door. The company claims this machine provides best-in-class bucket and loader breakout force, traction force, and the fastest cycle times for this class of machine. Estimated list price: $51,150.

“Rubber tracks are great for working in soft and muddy conditions,” notes Mike Ross, Product Marketing Manager at Takeuchi Manufacturing. “Rubber track loaders can provide much better traction in grading and excavating applications than conventional models. And, basically, you can use a rubber track loader in all the same conditions you would use a skid steer loader with standard tracks. We've been told that users get up to two or three times more productivity on the rubber track loader when working in dirt.”
It should be noted that, the Gehl CTLs, like its sister company's Mustang MTL Series, are manufactured by Takeuchi.
CMO- Construction Machinery Overview published specs of Takeuchi mini excavators in the past. CMO is planing to publish spec of Tajeuchi Rubber Track Loaders this month.
